Smoothie King Nutrition Calculator: Calories, Protein, Sugar & Macros

We all know the frustration of staring at a menu board, wondering if that “Get Fit” smoothie is actually helping our goals or just masking a sugar bomb. It’s exhausting to feel like you’re guessing with your health, but the truth is, a 20oz Slim-N-Trim™ Strawberry at 160 calories and a 44oz Hulk™ Strawberry at 1,640 calories are worlds apart despite being on the same menu.

Use the Smoothie King Nutrition Calculator below to finally build your exact blend, size, add-ins, and swaps included, so you can see your real calories, protein, and sugar update instantly. It’s time to stop letting marketing categories do your thinking for you and start making choices that actually match what your body needs.

The short version

  • Size is the biggest lever. Calories roughly scale 1x / 1.5x / 2x across 20oz, 32oz and 44oz.
  • Except the Gladiator®. It holds near 220 calories with ~45g protein at every size, because it’s protein concentrate, not fruit.
  • Sugar is the thing to watch, not fat. Fruit smoothies are liquid sugar, however clean the ingredients.
  • The category names are marketing. A “Manage Weight” blend can still carry real sugar. Check the number.

What this calculator actually does

It adds up calories, protein, carbs, fat and sugar for whatever you order, the blend, the size, any add-ins, and swaps like water instead of juice. You’ll see it called a Smoothie King calorie calculator, calorie counter or macro calculator. Same job: show your real cup.

And this is one place where a calculator genuinely earns its keep. Smoothie King publishes nutrition based on a standard recipe at 20oz, but almost nobody orders a plain 20oz standard recipe. You size up. You add a protein scoop. You swap the base. Every one of those moves the number, and some move it dramatically.

There’s also something specific about smoothies worth saying out loud: you drink them fast and you don’t chew. A 700-calorie smoothie takes four minutes and doesn’t feel like a meal. A 700-calorie plate of food takes twenty and does. That’s not a reason to avoid smoothies, it’s a reason to know the number before you order.

How to use it in ten seconds

  1. Pick your blend, Get Fit, Manage Weight, Be Well, Feel Energized, Fruit Classics, Smoothie Bowls, or the GLP-1 support menu.
  2. Choose your size, 20oz, 32oz or 44oz. (Kids blends are 12oz.)
  3. Add or remove add-ins, protein, enhancers, turbinado sugar.
  4. Set your base, water, juice, milk, or a plant-based swap.

Then run the experiment that teaches you the most: take your usual order, swap juice for water and skip the turbinado sugar, and watch the sugar line drop. Those are two free changes most people never think to ask for.

Size scales, and then there’s the Gladiator

Across most of the menu, calories scale roughly 1x at 20oz, 1.5x at 32oz, 2x at 44oz. Straightforward. Upsizing a fruit blend from 20oz to 44oz roughly doubles everything, including the sugar.

The Gladiator® breaks this rule entirely.

The Gladiator is built primarily from protein concentrate rather than fruit, so its calories stay near 220 regardless of size, while delivering around 45g of protein. Twenty ounces or forty-four, the number barely moves.

Sit with that for a second. It means:

  • A 44oz Gladiator costs you almost nothing extra, calorically.
  • 45g of protein for ~220 calories is one of the best ratios you’ll find anywhere, in any restaurant.

It’s the closest thing Smoothie King has to a free lunch. If you’re chasing protein in a calorie deficit, this is your order.

Compare it honestly to the other end of the menu: The Hulk™ Strawberry at 44oz is 1,640 calories with 46g of protein. Basically the same protein. Roughly 1,400 extra calories. The Hulk is a deliberate mass-gaining blend, it’s doing exactly what it’s designed to do. Just don’t order it by accident.

The full calorie range, honestly

Blend (20oz unless noted)CaloriesNotes
Slim-N-Trim™ Strawberry~160Lowest on the menu, 13g protein
Gladiator®~220~45g protein, at any size
Shredder® Vanilla (44oz)~440~63g protein
The Hulk™ Strawberry~680 to 820Mass-gainer blend
The Hulk™ Chocolate (32oz)~1,04036g protein
The Hulk™ Strawberry (44oz)~1,64046g protein

At 20oz, the menu spans roughly 160 to 820 calories. At 32oz, 230 to 1,230. The blend you pick and the size you pick matter far more than the fact that you’re at a smoothie shop.

Sugar is the real conversation

Not fat. Not sodium. Sugar.

Fruit is sugar. Blended fruit is sugar you drink quickly. Add fruit juice as a base, add turbinado sugar, add frozen yogurt, and a “healthy” smoothie starts to look like a dessert with good PR.

Smoothie King has actually done well here, several Get Fit blends carry 0g of added sugar, and the Clean Blends menu uses GMO-free fruits and organic vegetables with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. That’s real, and it’s better than most of the category.

But naturally occurring sugar still counts when you’re drinking 44 ounces of it. The American Heart Association suggests capping added sugar around 25g/day for women and 36g/day for men, and while fruit sugar isn’t the same as added sugar metabolically, a large fruit blend can carry a lot of total sugar in a short window.

Three free swaps that actually work:

  1. Water instead of juice or milk as the base.
  2. Skip the turbinado sugar, just ask.
  3. Skip the frozen yogurt if the blend includes it.

None of these cost extra. All of them show up in the calculator immediately.

Do the category names mean anything?

Partly. This is the most important thing on this page.

Smoothie King organizes its menu by goal, Get Fit, Manage Weight, Be Well, Feel Energized, Enjoy a Treat. That structure is genuinely helpful. It’s also marketing doing your thinking for you.

A “Manage Weight” blend is designed to be lighter, many land under about 300 calories at 20oz, but it can still carry meaningful sugar depending on the fruit and base. A “Get Fit” blend can be 220 calories (Gladiator) or 1,040 calories (Hulk Chocolate, 32oz). Both are in the fitness category. They are not the same food.

So use the category to narrow, then use the calculator to decide. The label tells you the intent. The number tells you the truth.

The GLP-1 menu and Power Eats

Two things worth knowing that most guides haven’t caught up to.

GLP-1 support menu. Smoothie King now offers blends crafted by registered dietitians specifically for people on GLP-1 medications, where protein intake and satiety matter enormously and appetite is suppressed. If that’s you, this menu exists for a real clinical reason, and it’s a sensible starting point.

Power Eats. In 2025 Smoothie King launched its first nationwide food menu in 50 years: Egg Clouds (protein egg bites), Chicken Bites, toast options and Protein Boxes. Chicken Bites lead on protein at 20g for 140 calories. Pairing a Gladiator with Chicken Bites gets you around 65g of protein for roughly 360 calories, which is, frankly, a better macro profile than most gym meals.

Keto, vegan, and gluten

Keto/low-carb: Look at the Keto Champ™ blends, which are formulated for low-carb, high-fat goals rather than fruit-forward ones. Standard fruit smoothies are carb-heavy by definition, no amount of customization fixes that.

Vegan: Smoothie King lists vegan-friendly blends, and you can usually swap in plant-based protein or request no dairy. Ask for water as the base.

Gluten: All of Smoothie King’s smoothies are gluten free, but the company states its locations are not 100% gluten-free facilities and cross-contamination is possible. Ingredient lists also flag milk, tree nuts, soy and eggs across the menu. If you have celiac disease or a serious allergy, that distinction matters.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the Smoothie King Nutrition Calculator?

It’s a close estimate. Smoothie King publishes nutrition based on standard recipes at a 20oz size, with add-ins and sizes updating dynamically. What it can’t capture is store-level variation, how much ice, how heavy the scoop, whether an enhancer got double-pumped. Use it as a reliable planning number and confirm in-store if you need exact figures.

Does Smoothie King have an official nutrition calculator?

Yes. Smoothie King provides nutrition information and a calculator on its website, where each menu item is listed against a standard recipe at 20oz and your size and add-in choices update the totals. It’s one of the better official tools in the category.

What is the highest-protein Smoothie King smoothie?

The Gladiator® leads on efficiency at roughly 45g of protein for about 220 calories, and remarkably, that stays constant across all three sizes. The Shredder® Vanilla reaches around 63g of protein at 440 calories in a 44oz. Among Get Fit blends, the Hulk™ Chocolate (32oz) has 36g, but at roughly 1,040 calories.

What is the lowest-calorie Smoothie King smoothie?

The Slim-N-Trim™ Strawberry at 20oz, around 160 calories with 13g of protein. Most Manage Weight blends sit under roughly 300 calories at 20oz, but check the specific blend, the category name doesn’t guarantee the number.

How many calories are in a Hulk smoothie?

The Hulk™ is the highest-calorie signature blend and it’s designed that way, as a mass-gainer. At 20oz it runs roughly 680 to 820 calories. At 32oz, the Chocolate version is about 1,040. At 44oz, Hulk™ Strawberry reaches around 1,640 calories with 46g of protein.

Is Smoothie King good for weight loss?

It can be, if you order deliberately. The Manage Weight blends are built for it, the Gladiator is exceptional for protein per calorie, and swapping juice for water plus skipping turbinado sugar cuts real sugar for free. The risk is a large fruit blend that reads as healthy and drinks like dessert, that’s what the calculator is for.

How do I lower the sugar in my smoothie?

Three requests, all free: use water instead of juice or milk, skip the turbinado sugar, and skip the frozen yogurt if your blend has it. Choosing a 20oz over a 44oz roughly halves everything, sugar included. Several Get Fit blends carry 0g added sugar to begin with.

Are Smoothie King smoothies gluten free?

The smoothies themselves are gluten free, but Smoothie King is explicit that its locations are not 100% gluten-free facilities and cross-contamination is possible. Milk, tree nuts, soy and eggs also appear across the menu. Anyone with celiac disease or a severe allergy should speak with staff first.

Go build your smoothie

Smoothie King is better than its reputation in one direction and worse in the other. The Gladiator at 45g of protein for 220 calories, at any size, is one of the best-value orders in fast food. A 44oz Hulk is 1,640 calories that go down in five minutes.

Both are on the same menu, under encouraging-sounding names.

Scroll back up, build the blend you actually order. Check the sugar line. Then swap the juice for water and look again.
